Casa Tomé

Casa Tomé is one of the oldest and best-preserved farmhouses in the Alps, dating back to around 1350. Located in the centre of Poschiavo, both the interior and exterior of this medieval building offer a rare example of a vanished rural society that remained unchanged for centuries, both inside and out. A listed building since 1993, it is a precious testimony to an outdated way of life, preserved by the history of the Tomé family, who lived in it until the end of the 20th century.
