Cross-border hikes on smugglers' trails

From June to October, sConfini, the festival of cultural smuggling, offers guided cross-border hikes. Participants become modern-day smugglers for a day. On this occasion, you can discover some of the many paths once used by smugglers and guarded by the financieri (Italian customs officers). It's a slightly different excursion than usual, where you can gather experiences and impressions to put in your own bricolla (rucksack). There are two hikes to choose from, one in the municipality of Poschiavo, from Quadrada via Cancian to Pass d'Ur, and one in the municipality of Brusio, from Pescia Bassa via Anzana and Lüghina to Scala.
